Thank you for visiting my counselling website. I hope that it can provide you with further insight into counselling and help you decide whether my approach to counselling may be able to support your individual needs.

 

I am a professional counsellor with my own private counselling practice, based in Amersham, South Buckinghamshire and I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I also trained in Humanistic Counselling on a BACP accredited Post-Graduate Diploma course.

 

As part of my commitment to my own continuous, professional development, I receive ongoing personal development and professional training so that I am equipped and up-to-date in skills and knowledge within the areas of counselling in which I work with people. This also means that, like all counsellors, I commit to receiving regular, ongoing supervision for the work that I do. This supervision is in accordance with BACP guidance, where client confidentiality is maintained.

Confidential Counselling

I see clients on a private basis in the counselling space which I provide in Amersham. Those people who come for counselling, do so through self-referral or via referral from their GP or EAP  (Employee Assistance Programme) Provider, organised confidentially through their place of work.

I offer both brief and longer-term, confidential counselling to individuals of all ages (18+).

Responses to telephone or email enquiries about counselling, will be made within a 48 hour period, subject to my working hours of Monday - Friday (9am - 8pm) and Saturday (9am - 1pm). Bank holidays and public holidays are excluded.
